Gradual release of oak compounds

Fusion Series products allow selection of two distinct toast levels (primary and secondary), combined into a controlled blend. Designed for medium- to long-term aging, providing structured, barrel-like extraction through their thicker profile and controlled surface exposure. Segments deliver gradual integration of tannins, toast-derived aromatics, and mouthfeel enhancement.

  • Available in Untoasted, Light, Medium, Medium+, Heavy, and Charbon toast levels.
  • Available in 1.5 OZ, 1 LB, 2 LB, 5 LB, 10 LB, 20 LB, 20 LB Infusion, and 40 LB.

Dosage: 23-30 g/gal; 6-8 g/L

Size: Approx.: 2″ L x 0.375″ W x 3″ H.

Usage: Slower oak extraction. Add segments during maturation or finishing. Segments may be added loose or suspended in infusion bags for easy removal. Conduct sensory evaluations periodically to determine optimal oak contribution.

Useful Life: Store in a cool dry, odor free environment below 77°F (25°C). Designed for a 1 time use during fermentation, aging, or finishing.

Toasting Method: Convection oven

Seasoning: Air-dried for 24-36 months.
