Wrapping Up the 2025 Harvest!
As the 2025 domestic harvest wraps up in the northern hemisphere, wineries across the U.S. are moving from picking grapes to the critical next stage: fermentation and aging. This transition is where the complexities of winemaking come to life and where oak aging plays a vital role.
At Oak Chips Inc., we provide premium oak alternatives designed to support this exact phase. Whether using chips, cubes, staves, segments, or powder, winemakers can enhance complexity, aroma, and texture while maintaining control over every aspect of aging. Our products offer a versatile and cost-effective way to achieve consistent, high-quality results without relying solely on traditional barrels.
With years of experience serving winemakers worldwide, we understand both the science and artistry behind aging wine. From learning how our oak alternatives are crafted to applying them in your cellar, OCI offers the tools, insights, and personalized support to help winemakers of all levels achieve their vision — elevating wines from harvest to bottle with precision, creativity, and care.
Happy Thanksgiving!
With Thanksgiving approaching, we want to pause and reflect on the incredible people and partnerships that make Oak Chips Inc. what it is today.
From our dedicated team members to our loyal customers and industry partners, we are grateful for another year of collaboration, creativity, and shared success. This season reminds us of the importance of community — within our company, across the wine industry, and in the relationships we build globally.
Upcoming Black Friday Event!
Employee Spotlight!
At Oak Chips Inc., we value our team and open communication, which is why each quarter we hold a meeting to share updates, enjoy a meal together, and celebrate the team’s accomplishments.
Each quarter, we select an Employee of the Quarter and a runner-up. This quarter, Alan Setty earned the top honor. Alan is always ready to help — whether it’s preparing a large order or running upstairs to grab something so a teammate doesn’t have to. His dedication and team-first attitude make him an essential part of OCI, and we’re lucky to have him.
Our runner-up, Zach Tackett, joined OCI more recently but has made an immediate impact. From day one, Zach has shown dedication, initiative, and a willingness to jump in wherever he’s needed. His drive and commitment have been an inspiration to the team.
We’re proud of both Alan and Zach and grateful for our entire OCI team. Nothing gets done without teamwork, and it’s this collaboration and commitment that allow us to succeed together.
The Purity of Oak!
Oaking wine and spirits is more than a tradition — it’s a way to enhance flavor while offering wellness benefits. All of Oak Chips Inc.’s oak alternatives — chips, cubes, staves, and powder — are dye-free, sugar-free, calorie-free, and contain no additives, giving you a natural way to elevate your beverages.
Beyond flavor, oaking can provide heart-healthy benefits. Oak compounds contribute antioxidants and polyphenols, supporting a more balanced and mindful approach to enjoying wine and spirits. Whether you’re refining a vintage, experimenting with new blends, or simply enjoying a drink, our oak alternatives offer a clean, versatile, and health-conscious way to build complexity and aroma in every bottle.

Building Global Connections: Chile
Last week, our sales team returned from an inspiring week in Chile, where they spent time visiting wineries, building relationships, and exchanging knowledge about the latest trends in winemaking. Chile has become a key player in the global wine industry, and our team’s visit reinforced the value of collaboration across borders.
During the trip, our team learned how Chilean winemakers are using oak alternatives to achieve greater consistency and flavor balance in their wines. We also explored regional grape varieties, production techniques, and innovative aging methods, bringing back insights that will help OCI continue to serve winemakers around the world.
